GTbank Mobile Money Toolkit: This is a toolkit introduced by GTbank in partnership with 9Mobile Telecommunications Company. The mobile money toolkit already comes installed on the 9Mobile sim card and can be used by any GTbank Old And new customers who use 9Mobile as their Nigeria mobile network services provider.

How to Open GTbank  Mobile Money Account on Your 9Mobile SIM Card

1:  Ensure you have inserted a full registered 9mobile  SIM card into your phone and ensure that it is own by you

Opening procedure 2:

Go to the menu area of your phone and check for the Etisalat SIM Menu and click on it.

Opening Procedure 3:

Select the mobile money icon and then select Gtbank.

Opening Procedure 4:

Scroll to ‘My Account’

Click on the ‘Register’ button. You would be asked to provide answers to a series of questions such as your full names and your date of birth. Make sure you answer the questions as carefully and as accurately as you can, as these are the same questions which you would be asked to provide answers to, should you ever need to recover your pin.

Click on the submit button after providing answers to all the questions.

Within few minutes, you would receive a 6-digit number from GTB known as your ‘Activation Token’

Opening procedure 5: How To Activate GTbank Mobile Money On Phone?

Go right ahead to use the same numbers to activate mobile money on your phone.

Simply open the GTbank Mobile money app, click on the activation button and you would be asked to enter the activation token (6 digits number) that was sent to your phone earlier in the previous steps

Opening procedure 6: Proceed to select a 4-digit PIN number (ensure you select a pin that is secured and that would be easy for you to remember. You should also select a PIN that other people cannot easily guess.


That’s it! You have successfully activated your GTB mobile money account, and would receive a welcome text message from GTBank direct to your phone with all details you need to know about GTbank Mobile Money Banking within the next few minutes.

First and foremost Download the mobile money Application into your phone or device(You may get this app found at the application market of your device or phone depending)

After that, Register Your GTbank account details by providing your personal details containing your finances details and date of birth details.

You would as usual again, receive a text message containing 6-digit activation token from GTbank
